The
Hank & Audrey Williams Center of Nashville
A brick and mortar Hank & Audrey Williams Center is the focused goal of all our fundraising and marketing efforts. Until that future time, please see our website for up-to-date recovery and addiction related information in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.
The Hank & Audrey Williams Center is a whole new idea in recovery centers. Think information central for people with substance abuse problems and/or their families… available online 24-7 and during daytime hours at a cool place with a self-help attitude, reference library, free online computer access, recovery related speakers, meditative gardens, and a belief in the healing power of music.
The Bernice & Doyle Turner music room is a special feature of The Hank & Audrey Williams Center. Bernice played rhythm guitar and Doyle played steel in Hank’s band back in Montgomery in the 1940’s. Later, due to Doyle’s own problems with alcohol, the Turners were very active in AA, and were among the first to include music in the recovery healing process.
